Watch WWE Bragging Rights 2010

Bragging Rights (2010) was a PPV that took place on October 24, 2010 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was the second and final Bragging Rights event. The primary match of the evening was a 14-man interpromotional elimination tag match for ‘ragging right’ between the two brands. Smackdown was represented by Big Show, Mysterio, Swagger, Alberto Del Rio, Edge, Tyler Reks, and Kofi while Team raw was composed of The Miz, R-Truth, Shaemus, Santino, John Morrison, CM Punk, and Ezekiel Jackson. The main event was a singles match for the WWE Championship with Randy Orton defending the title against Wade Barrett with the stipulation that if Barrett lost, John Cena would be fired. A second main event was a Buried Alive match for the World Heavyweight Championship between defending champion Kane and The Undertaker.

The A-Show in comparison to the B-Show. The Red Show in comparison to the Blue Show. 3.1 ratings versus 1.7 ratings. USA versus SyFy. The…ok, I’ll stop. The thing is, it is time for Bragging Rights, my absolute favorite from the newer gimmick ppvs. I had been a large fan of the concept (though I still think it might engage in far better when they made it happen because the ppv directly following the draft and farther away from Survivor Series) and Hopefully this pay-per-view delivers so that they ensure that it stays. Also, spot the Cena versus Taker nod within the poster above? Another sign they might be choosing individuals two for WrestleMania. Anyway, sidetracks aside (see things i did there?), what exactly are we searching at with this year’s WWE Bragging Rights?

WWE Championship: Randy Orton (c) versus. Wade Barrett

It feels too early to accept title from Orton. Also, with Survivor Series as being a good ppv to finish factions, I do not think Barrett’s winning the title and dragging Nexus on any more than that, particularly with the Miz browsing the wings. I am thinking what we’ll have this is a situation much like exactly what the Cena/JBL match what food was in the Royal Rumble when HBK was under JBL’s employment. Cena is going to be told he needs to help Barrett win the title, and he’ll perform some sketchy stuff, but Orton will finish up winning anyway, partly from Cena stalling or whatever.

World Heavyweight Championship [Hidden Alive Match]: Kane (c) versus. Undertaker

A hidden alive match?! Awesome! Ok, therefore it is not probably the most technical, fast-paced, action packed match available. However, how frequently are we had this match? There is some buzz this will put one of these from commission for some time so things may possibly heat support around here we are at WrestleMania, but to tell the truth, I do not really expect that to occur. Plus, just how can they top this match afterward? Inferno match at WrestleMania? An easy casket match will not do. If this sounds like the finish from the feud, Undertaker certainly wins. If the creates Undertaker/Kane for WrestleMania, then I am presuming Taker wins while he just went on injuries and would look type of weak doing the work again. If the feud continues until Survivor Series…well, I still think Taker wins here which just turns into a rematch. UPDATE: Apparently based on several websites, the Undertaker needs shoulder surgery and potentially is going to be spending time off following this pay-per-view. That being stated, if it’s indeed true, then Kane needs to win here. They cannot go ahead and take title off him after which have Undertaker vacate it per week or something like that. Kane retaining can take shape his momentum up much more and may really put him within the best place he’s experienced since 1998. For the way lengthy Taker has gone out, I’m not sure how they may finish the feud, or where, but the potential of a WrestleMania rematch certainly is not the window any longer with Taker departing.

Bragging Rights Match: Team Raw (The Miz, John Morrison, Sheamus, CM Punk, R-Truth, Santino Marella, & Ezekiel Jackson) versus. Team Smackdown (Big Show, Kofi Kingston, Tyler Reks, Alberto Del Rio, Edge, Rey Mysterio, & Jack Swagger)

Mark Henry’s mystery place would go to Ezekiel Jackson, hopefully due to them thinking of doing that instead of having to, with Mark’s brother’s health issues. Three names within this match are type of confusing for me personally. Ezekiel is one, but I can tell why they’d want him to return to some resurgence and that i don’t have any trouble with that. Another two are Santino and Reks. If Santino stays around the team, he’ll you need to be rapidly eliminated. I can not use whatever way around that. I still think there is a possibility that Santino Will not remain on they, though, and will also be substituted with Triple H, though there has been simply no reports indicating anything near to that. Will I expect it to occur? No. Nevertheless its possible, also it seems like there has to be SOME reason installed Santino around the team rather of…well, almost anybody…so it needs to be among the two. On Smackdown’s side, they made a decision to replace Kaval (who might have provided some energy and fun spots towards the match, in addition to received a push along the way) with Tyler Reks of people. I do not know what they are doing with this. Reks had nothing opting for him throughout his very short ECW stint and has not been seen essentially since This summer of 09 outdoors of the couple of dark matches, and that he wasn’t even hurt. I speculated for several weeks he could be released anytime, especially after supposedly losing it with an plane throughout a flight, but apparently they see something in him enough not only to keep him all of this time but additionally put him within this big match over the kind of MVP, Kaval, Cody Rhodes, Came McIntyre, yet others. Very surprising. I still don’t believe he’ll play any kind whatsoever within the match outdoors of the quick elimination.

The large factor here’s Triple H, though even when he returns, I do not believe it is always a lock that Raw wins it. With Smackdown getting just moved to SyFy, I completely expect them to try and give the advantage of the doubt towards the B-show making Smackdown look better and competitive for their new network.

Divas Championship: LayCool (c) versus. Natalya

Again, I truly aren’t seeing them using the title off Michelle and Layla yet. They appear to like their whole gimmick. I am not quite sure why…since they are so awful around the mic…however when that they like something, they stick to them despite the fact that (coughSheamuscough). Thus, Natalya doesn’t have shot here. I’d be absolutely shocked if she won the title.

Daniel Bryan versus. Dolph Ziggler

Its a non-title match, not really a unification, therefore it does not REALLY matter who wins. They are not even doing the 3 match tally like this past year, which means this will not even count perfectly into a Smackdown or Raw point. For that reason, I am expecting Ziggler to cheat and win.
